Adolescent Neglect Workshop

This is an interactive workshop designed to help people explore what adolescent neglect is, the challenges in this work and different levels of interventions to assess and address this.
This workshop is aimed for people who work with adolescents and their families and have some knowledge or role of safeguarding within this area.
By the end of this course participants will be (better) able to:
To know what neglect and adolescent neglect are.
Explore the causes of adolescent neglect.
To understand the negative outcomes for young people who experience neglect.
To be able to identify the signs of adolescent neglect.
Understand the challenges in identifying adolescent neglect.
To have an increased knowledge of the areas to target intervention.
To be able to identify opportunities for intervention at different levels of adolescent neglect.
