Adoption Information Evenings are public events that aim to tell you what you need to know about adopting a child or children through Buckinghamshire County Council. People are motivated to adopt for all sorts of reasons and are often unre when and where to start
It all starts with finding out a little more which you can do here, you are welcome to come along whatever stage you are at in considering adoption.

We are recruiting adopters who can meet the needs of our children. The children waiting need parents who can offer something special and if you feel you can meet their needs, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for:

adopters who can offer a home to sibling groups of 3 children or more

adopters who can care for children with medical needs, enduring conditions and disabilities

adopters for children aged 4-7 years

adopters who can meet the needs of children with diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds
If you are interested in adopting a younger child we would love you to come to one of our information evenings and consider concurrent planning (fostering for adoption)
