This event is for anyone curious about adoption. Whether you're just beginning to explore the idea of adopting or already considering applying, this event is for you.

- The adoption process in Scotland and what to expect at each stage.
- The children waiting to be adopted.
- The lifelong adoption support we offer our adoptive families.
You can:
- Ask questions during the session or contact us privately afterwards and we will answer your questions by email or over the phone.
You'll also hear from one of our adopters, who will share their personal experience of adopting and happily answer your questions.

Who can adopt through St Andrew's Children's Society?
We help people to adopt who live within a 60 mile radius of Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Elgin.
Everyone is welcome — including LGBTQ+ individuals, single people, people of faith, those of no faith, and individuals from Black, Asian, and other diverse ethnicities
What is Adoption Week Scotland?
Adoption Week Scotland is held every November to raise awareness about adoption across Scotland and to encourage more people to think about adopting. We take part in this important campaign every year.
