Adoption Information Stall in Elgin Library

Come to our free Adoption Information Stall in the foyer at Elgin Library on Monday, 3 November from 10.30am to 11.30am. We are proud to be holding this event as part of Adoption Week Scotland 2025.

This event is for anyone curious about adoption. Whether you're just beginning to explore the idea of adopting or already considering applying, this event is for you.

You don't need to register for this event. You can just go along to the stall on the day.

Why attend?

We'll tell you about:

• The adoption process in Scotland and what to expect at each stage.
• The children waiting to be adopted.
• The lifelong adoption support we offer our adoptive families.

You can:

• Ask questions or contact us privately afterwards and we will answer your questions by email or over the phone.

Who can adopt through St Andrew's Children's Society?

We help people to adopt who live within a 60 mile radius of Elgin, Aberdeen and Edinburgh.

Everyone is welcome — including LGBTQ+ individuals, single people, people of faith, those of no faith, and individuals from Black, Asian, and other diverse ethnicities.

What is Adoption Week Scotland?

Adoption Week Scotland is held every November to raise awareness about adoption across Scotland and to encourage more people to think about adopting. We take part in this important campaign every year.
