About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Join us at an exciting time in PKD Research. Professor Patricia Wilson, an honorary Professor of Medicine at University College London and integral member of the PKD Partnership will be live, for an online Q & A session focussed on “ADPKD treatments – progress and research”.

Professor Wilson leads research into PKD at the Royal Free and this session gives a fantastic opportunity to hear directly about the road to treatments, and also to ask any questions you have. Professor Wilson has a wealth of knowledge to share with us, and in this relaxed, one-hour session will cover:

  • Tolvaptan: A few details on the journey to approval and the 10 years beyond

  • The middle years: An overview of PKD trials that have failed

  • A promising future: Where are we now and where are we heading?
