ADR Dangerous Goods Awareness Training

Training in the general provisions for the carriage of dangerous goods by road is a legal requirement for all persons involved in their transport.
Including chemical manufacturers, transport office staff, packers, loaders, unloaders and even drivers if they do not hold an ADR licence.
This requirement now covers all persons involved in the preparation and transport of dangerous goods packed as limited quantities.
Our course will provide you with a general overview of the ADR provisions, including the following:
Introduction to the regulations
The UN principles of classification
How CLP/GHS and Waste classifications link to dangerous goods classifications
Choosing containment for dangerous goods and using the Dangerous Goods List
UN certified packages, IBCs and tank types
Marking, labelling and placarding
Vehicle equipment requirements
Documentation (including completing hazardous waste consignment notes)
Security and high consequence dangerous goods
The small load threshold and other ADR exemptions and derogations.
No prior experience is necessary.
Hard copies of ADR will be provided to each attendee for reference during the course and an electronic copy of the regulations will be provided to take away.
A buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Course cost: £150.00 + VAT per person.
