An evening of case based discussions centred around possible differential diagnoses for an elevated ALP to include: hyperadrenocorticism (biochemical testing and imaging of adrenals), biliary disease (imaging and sampling) and liver disease (imaging and sampling).


About the Speaker:


Fiona McFarlane BVSc CertAVP(SAM) BSc MRCVS Referral Medic

Fiona qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2006 and has developed an interest in internal medicine and imaging in her time in general practice. In 2016, she was awarded the RCVS certificate in advanced veterinary practice in the area of Small Animal Medicine. Fiona joined the referral team at Lime Trees in 2023 to focus on pursuing her passion for investigating more challenging medical cases. Outside of work, Fiona is kept busy with her two small children and her Bengal cat, Stacey. She enjoys open water swimming, cycling and walking.
