Overview

For adults seeking diagnosis and those who have one already - with multiple session options per month.

This is an in-person meet-up for adults with ADHD, run by the local ADHD community. You do not need a formal diagnosis.

Ours is an inclusive space where we each have a bit of time to discuss our concerns, where we are currently in life, and then reflect and support each other. You’ll meet like-minded people discussing their ADHD, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Our sessions start on time at 18:00, so we actually recommend trying to arrive a little bit earlier, to navigate around the venue. Time blindness is also a thing apparently! We finish up at 20:00.

Worth noting: We are a long-established self-organised nonprofit group. We also don't have any ties to local private services, so we like to regard ourselves as impartial - certainly we do the best we can!

Getting to our meeting room

Finding the Milton Room in the Renfield Centre layout can be a bit confusing for first timers, so please check out this page for step-free turn-by-turn directions, including pictures.

Local resources

We have crowd-sourced a short page of starter resources for those who think that they may have ADHD, including employment and benefit support organisations as well as local socialising opportunities.

Sold out?

Booking is essential as we deliberately limit the number of spaces to ensure those that want have time to talk.

If sold out, check back nearer the time as we encourage people to cancel if they can no longer make it, but also consider booking for the next available session to be on the safe side. It's why we run so many sessions per month - basically the next available session should never be more than two weeks away.

Agenda
6:00 PM - 6:15 PM

Meet & Greet

We go around the table introducing ourselves and explain briefly where we are in our journey. Whether we're diagnosed, seeking diagnosis, or supporting a friend or family member who we are accompanying.

6:15 PM - 7:55 PM

Peer Support

We prioritise new faces and do our best to give everyone an opportunity to talk. We can discuss our experiences, ask questions, and share resources. Since this is a general session, discussion is free form.

7:55 PM - 8:00 PM

Wrap Up

We have a WhatsApp group which we share at the end of the session. Some of us continue to the pub around the corner which serves a wide variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, but absolutely not everyone.
