About this event
Your chance to chat informally with a variety of local providers offering a great alternative to college options: Access Training, Cornwall Rural Community Charity, Kehelland College, Learn2 Cornwall, Newquay Orchard, ReachOut Creative Futures, United Response and Cornwall Adult Education. Come and ask questions, chat and find out what is on offer to suit your young person's particular needs. This will be most relevant to Year 11s/15 or 16+ year olds choosing their post-school pathway now.
Some provision caters for a slightly different age range and not all provision requires an EHCP - come and find out more.
One ticket needed per person - please choose your slot (one hour) at either 10am, 11am or 12 noon.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, free to young people with SEND and their families/carers and/or staff from their schools. Provision is primarily for people with an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan). Please book a ticket for each person attending and limit numbers to interested parties only.
You will book a one-hour slot and you can arrive on the hour and stay an hour, or arrive a little later and stay for a shorter time. If you want to talk with several providers, we suggest you use the full hour. We will be as flexible as we can but it depends on space at the time.
There will be tea, coffee, squash, biscuits and fruit available, free of charge.
There is visitor parking at Chy Trevail with a short level walk (up to 500 yards) to the venue which is on the ground floor.
