We deliver Bikeability which is the national cycle training programme which develops skills and confidence for cycling on the roads. Whether you are a complete beginner or a regular cyclist looking to improve your skills, the sessions are tailored to your individual abilities and goals - there is something for everyone!

You can improve your bike handling skills so you can ride with family and friends with confidence.

Our friendly, experienced instructors will help you get ready for that first commute to work or college.

Learn to cycle in a safe, off-road environment including:

Preparing for a journey

Checking your cycle is ready for a journey

Setting off and stopping

Pedalling (including controlling speed, turning, looking behind and signalling)

For people who never learnt to cycle or those who haven’t been on a bike for years, and want to regain their confidence.Adult Cycling lessons, these lessons are for complete beginners who would like to start from scratch, learning to set off and pedal a bicycle.

Bikes and helmets are available to borrow, and all of the training takes place in Lister Park, a Green Flag green space in the heart of Bradford.

If you do have your own bike, then you are more than welcome to bring it!

Our friendly and qualified instructors will help you with your balance, confidence and cycling skills and have you riding around in no time.

Our experienced instructor will guide you step by step, from getting on and off, to bike handling and balance.

Our instructor will work with you to assess your needs and to get you up and running in a friendly, stress-free manner, at your pace.

Once you have built up your skills on this beginner session you can book on to one of our improver courses

All we ask if that if you can't attend a session, please cancel your place on Eventbrite. We always have a waiting list of people wanting to attend.

Our funding depends on people turning up, so without you, we won't be able to continue.
