If you have ever tried to support someone who is struggling; the MHFAider course teaches delegates to understand what is mental health, how to spot the signs of poor mental health and illness, how to have a conversation You do not leave the course as a phychotherapist or counsellor, but with the confidence to talk to someone and encourage them to seek the right help.
You will receive the MHFA workbook, Lanyard and action card , plus 3 years access to the online manual and 3 years membership of the association of Mental Health First Aiders which includes access to the MHFAider app. You also receive a certificate of attendance.
This online course is split into 4 online sessions. It is conducted with a combination of presentation, facilitated discussions, videos and exercises.
