PLEASE NOTE THIS TRAINING IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO MANAGERS WORKING IN THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL (UK) AREA, NOT ELSEWHERE IN THE UK OR OUTSIDE THE UK.
To attend this training, you need to have:
- Previously completed our 4 hour Adult Safeguarding training session
- Employed in a management role
Due to demand, no more than ONE manager from your service or organisation can attend each session.
Aims - Adult Safeguarding for Managers
- Refresh safeguarding principles
- Explore legal frameworks
- Highlight national guidance & local safeguarding procedures
- Confirm responsibilities of multi agency working and information sharing
- Gain confidence in understanding your responsibilities through the use of scenarios and discussion
- Opportunity to ask questions

- Part 2 – Role and Responsibilities of the Manager
- Part 3 – Scenarios
Training is free, transferable between settings and valid for 3 years. A certificate will be provided.
