About this event
This FREE Safeguarding event is for everyone interested in the topic for both individuals and community groups.
The Aim is to:
1 - To Connect members of the community and raise awareness
2 - Discuss what is Safeguarding and share general Safeguarding concerns(? with use of video clips/ case study to aid discussion)
3 - To look at good cultural practice and available support
4- Discuss Sutton statistics re Safeguarding. Looking at the BAME community in particular
5-To look at findings of one case review and Lessons learnt
6 - To look at referral pathways to safeguarding and different types of abuse including domestic abuse, psychological, neglect and physical abuse
