Care Home Managers asked if specific ASP training for managers could be designed.
This training course has been co-designed with local Care Home Managers, P&K HSCP and Scottish Care Independent Sector Lead for P&K to support and enhance their skills, knowledge, and understanding in relation to Adult Support and Protection.
Join us for meaningful in-person training session where you'll gain and share valuable insights on safeguarding vulnerable adults.
This interactive 3 ½ hour workshop is codesigned with Care Home Managers to be engaging and informative, featuring activities, peer discussion, videos, and presentations.
During this session, you will:
- Understand what Adult Protection is and how to recognise harm.
- Learn about the responsibilities of Care Home Managers in relation to Adult Support and Protection.
- Clarify your role and responsibilities as a Care Home Manager.
- Know what needs to be reported and to whom.
- Understand the subsequent steps after reporting.
- Wellbeing for Care Home Managers.
- Become familiar with the 'Perth and Kinross Multi-Agency Guidelines'.
