Welcome to the Adult Support & Protection Basic Awareness Training

This is an interactive 3 ½ hour workshop that will require your full participation. We will use activities, videos, and presentation material to introduce you to a basic awareness of adult support and protection.

This session will aim to support you in:

• Discussions about what adult protection is

• How to recognise harm

• To become clearer about your own role and responsibilities in recognising and responding to concerns

• Become familiar with the ‘Perth and Kinross Multi-Agency Guidelines’

• Increasing your confidence and ability to recognise and refer appropriately

This learning opportunity is open to everyone!

Venue Information - If you are not a PKC employee please arrive at Pullar House Reception for 09.15am this will support you to book in. I will meet you in reception to take you to the training room. Further information - Please be aware we require 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your place on this learning session. If 48 hours’ notice is not given or if you fail to attend on the day, there may be a charge of £50 for non-attendance.
