Adults mentalizing to small children: what we know now. International and Chilean data.

This talk reviews different conceptualizations and assessments of adults mentalising to small children, and international and Chilean results of influences and impact of this ability.

Results related to the impact of this ability on children outcomes will be presented, as well as children, adults and contexts variables that influence adults’ ability to mentalize. Finally, implications for research and interventions will be discussed.
