Adults Safeguarding Week: Haringey Hoarding Event

By Public Voice

Overview

Taking place at Bruce Castle, attendees will receive information on how to spot hoarding and support people to deal with it.

Are you or a loved one affected by hoarding?

A hoarding disorder is where someone acquires an excessive number of items and stores them in a chaotic manner, usually resulting in unmanageable amounts of clutter. Hoarding can impact everyday living, affect quality of life, and cause distress.

Join us on Tuesday 18th November at Bruce Castle Museum, to meet with Haringey organisations offering support for residents.

  • Discuss how to spot hoarding
  • Get advice on how to steps you can take, whether you’re personally struggling with hoarding or know someone who needs support
  • Meet a range of local organisations who are here to help.
  • Professionals supporting residents will have a chance to network and discuss the issue of hoarding, and agree steps to improve and better join up their services across Haringey.
