Advance UK Elders & Wives

Join us for our Elders and Wives weekend in Poole, Dorset. This is a time to connect and build friendships; to be equipped and revived to serve the local church. This event is open to all those churches in partnership with Advance and from other churches looking in.

Event Info

All meals are provided in the ticket cost. Please be aware that the ticket price does not include accommodation. Attendees are expected to organise this themselves. Be aware that accommodation in Poole is booking up quickly for this weekend. There are a number of hotel options available, but we recommend looking at the Premier Inn. You are of course welcome to find somewhere more suitable for your church party.

Friday Evening

We will be meeting at Rancho Steak House at 7pm for a delicious evening meal. Quay Visitors Car Park is a short 2min walk from the restaurant. After dinner, there are a number of pubs on the Quay that you can explore (including a huge Wetherspoons), or you can head back to your host house/ hotel for the night.

Saturday

Arrive at 9am at Gateway Chuch, Alder Road. There will be bacon sarnies on offer when you arrive, but you may want to fill up on breakfast prior to arriving. Parking is towards the rear of the building (turn into Morrison Rd off Alder Rd, and take first left onto Boyd Rd. Follow until you find Gateway Church carpark). We aim to finish by 4pm.
