About this event

About this event

In order to be an Advance UWL Mentor or Advance UWL Assessor, you must be a UWL or Partner Institution staff member and hold Fellowship at D2, D3 or D4.

The combined Advance UWL Mentor and Assessor Workshop will inform you of the roles and responsibilities of both and how to evaluate applications. You will also have an opportunity to find out about the PSF2023 Framework Descriptors and 15 Dimensions, and what evidence is appropriate for each fellowship application.

You will explore case studies and have an opportunity to evaluate some anonymized applications. Training is provided online via Blackboard Collaborate. The Advance UWL team will keep a record of your attendance. You will be issued with an Advance UWL Mentor/ Assessor certificate following completion of attendance at this workshop.

Joining instructions will be sent in advance of the session by email after you have registered.

Please note: this workshop may be cancelled or postponed if a minimum of 5 delegates are not registered, as numbers of delegates below this can make discussions and group work very difficult and resource intensive.
