About this event

  • 1 day 8 hours

The Cycling UK Advanced Maintenance Course is designed for the cycling enthusiast who is looking to develop their mechanical ability. This course will benefit those who wish to confidently carry out servicing and repairs on their own bike or who may have a responsibility to look after the bikes of others. It will also broaden the skills and knowledge of trainees who deliver a basic level of tuition.

The course is delivered by professionally qualified instructors who will demonstrate how to complete a comprehensive range of cycle maintenance tasks and guide trainees through practical sessions (see curriculum breakdown below).

Duration. A total of 16 hours tuition, from 10am - 6pm on Saturday 11 and Sunday12 May.

Cost. £298 per person

Quantity. Up to 4 x delegates per course (Minimum of 4)

Pre-Requisite Qualifications. Delegates do not require any pre-requisite qualifications; however, knowledge of bike anatomy and fundamentals of bicycle components may be useful.

We recommend bringing your own bike to practise on where possible, so you can learn the most relevant skills for your bike. You can also practise on our bikes where needed.
