Overview
This course takes you to the next level of using our supercomputer, BlueBEAR
The Advanced BlueBEAR course builds on the information provided in our Introduction to BlueBEAR training. It covers a variety of topics which are chosen based on the cohort’s interests but will broadly include:
- advanced Slurm usage (including strategies for implementing array jobs)
- local storage
- Apptainer containers
- approaches to self-installation
- interactive jobs
Please note that previous experience of using the Linux command line and BlueBEAR is required for this course. Attending the Introduction to BlueBEAR course is recommended.
Our courses are for research staff and research students only. Taught students - undergraduate and postgraduate - are not eligible to attend.
