About this Event

The Dusty Knuckle Bakery School is very proud to announce our inaugural Advanced Breads class. This class is designed to improve your bread baking through hands-on and theoretical work. Taught by two experienced bakers, you will leave ready and excited to tackle wetter, more complicated doughs.

In this baking class, you'll make three breads: The Dusty Knuckle white potato, baguettes and a spelt and oat porridge sourdough. There will also be two workshops: a starter clinic, where we'll take a look at your starter from home as well as show you different types of starter and their qualities, and a shaping workshop, where you'll have the chance to practice difficult shaping with some in-house dough. Also covered will be baker's percentages and inclusions.

Attendees should have experience with sourdough baking and should be able to comfortably make a loaf at home.

This class comes with a banneton, dough scraper and other freebies. We ask that you bring your starter with you. Please arrive 15 minutes early so that the class can start on time and let us know of any dietary requirements well in advance via bakeryschool@thedustyknuckle.com.
