Our diploma promotes creativity, and experiential learning amid an atmosphere of community where we are committed to assisting in the development of students individual growth as a counsellor, with an emphasis on active participation within the counselling profession.

Meet the Tutor: Heather Beveridge
Heather has worked helping and supporting people for over thirty years as a Psychology lecturer and then a children’s social worker. Heather She combined the skills she learned in these previous roles and trained as a counsellor after her two children went to primary school. Heather is a life long learner with a particular interest in research and gained a BA in Integrative Counselling and MSc in Psychology.
Heather is currently in private practice in Exeter and online. She specialise in counselling adults and young people who experience trauma, anxiety disorders and depression. She also works for two charities helping the LGBTQ1+ community and cancer patients. Heather loves to work creatively and her approach to counselling is integrative. She also supervises qualified counsellors and students.
Heather also enjoys walking her dog Bracken, spending time with family and friends and being in Cornwall.
Qualifications: BA (Hons) Integrative Counselling (University of Worcester), MSc Psychology (Open University), Cert Ed, DIpSW, Diplomas in CYP and Supervision
