The goal for every business is to develop a marketing system that works automatically without the need for ongoing input, leaving them time to concentrate on running their business.
Using MailChimp plus some other marketing software tools, this interactive session will give you a guided tour of the basic steps in setting up a marketing system using email automation.
With the continuing dominance of email as the primary method of business communication, more and more businesses are considering using it to market their business, especially considering the number of cost effective tools available to support it.
Unfortunately, most businesses only scrape the surface of email marketing, and don’t understand the true power and flexibility that it can deliver to an organisation when managed correctly.
The 3 hour session will be an introduction on how to move from a basic understanding of email marketing to the next level, incorporating things like 'landing pages' and automated emails into a marketing system.
The core of the session will be a guided demonstration/walkthrough of how to set up automated emails and landing pages covering key elements such as:
- Planning your marketing system
- The key tools you need
- Effective Data Capture and Landing Pages
- Connecting to and Structuring MailChimp in the right way
- Automated emails and understanding MailChimp’s automation process.
The session is purely meant to be an introduction to automation and planning for it and is not meant to be an extensive review of every practical element.
The session will be interactive (time permitting) and questions are welcomed to aid understanding.
Ideally, attendee’s will have previous experience of MailChimp and have a good understanding of the system.
All students will receive access the slides from the presentation to allow them to review and understand further at length.
