This course will take place in the Richard Hoggart Building, Room TBC

Course Description

Advanced I focuses on cultural topics, social behaviours, values, and communication styles. You will learn to express complex ideas with nuance and understand native-level interactions more comfortably.

This Course is Ideal For:

  • Post-intermediate learners aiming for advanced fluency
  • Students with 1500+ words
  • People who need Mandarin for work, travel, or long-term communication

What You Will Learn:

  • Vocabulary related to culture, society, values, and daily news
  • Expressing nuanced viewpoints and cultural comparisons
  • Natural conversational structures used by native speakers
  • More advanced listening from interviews, dialogues, and discussions
  • Reading comprehension for multi-paragraph texts
