What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy is on the West Cambridge site close to the Madingley Park and Ride. It is a short walk (<0.5 miles) from the Madingley P&R or just one stop on the University bus (called the "Universal" and run by Whippet). The Universal bus also goes to the department from the centre of Cambridge and the train station (N.B. there are bus stops on both Silver Street and Trumpington Street and you need to catch a bus that is travelling in the Madingley direction). For more details on the route and timetable see: http://www.go-whippet.co.uk/new-route-u/
Some limited parking will be available on site. Please email the organiser if a disabled parking space is required.
