We have an exclusive opportunity for you to visit the Advanced Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Labs at University of Salford Autonomous Systems and Robotics Research Centre.
Join us for a rare insight into how advanced technology can support health and social care and witness fascinating demonstrations of devices at the very forefront of technical and digital research.
A brief outline of the day is as follows:
11:30 - Innovation Scouts Event lunch
12:00-2:00pm - AI and Robotics:
Ambulance and asset management systems controlled by artificial intelligence (AI)
Live Data transfer from ambulances
AI/Robot triage of conditions
Xbox cameras monitoring movements and risks (Level 8 AI) in hospitals and 500 homes
Brain computer interfaces to pilot wheelchairs
2:00-4:00pm - iCUHTec Meeting (iCentre for Usable Home Technologies. Topics covered will include:
The 5th wave of Technology Enabled Community Care
Use of cameras for carers
Ethics and the use of video
New products to support 5th wave of TECC applications
*Attendence of the first session, 12-2pm, is optional for iCUHTec members. However, you are very welcome to attend if you are able, and we hope that you will.
