Learning objectives:

• Film and edit using the native camera app and CapCut
• Overview of kit - lighting, tripods and microphones
• The importance of the hook - Visual, Text and Audio
• How to use TikTok Creator Search Insights and Facebook pro dashboard
• Content ideas and creative treatment
• Trending themes, stories and music and when to use them
• Monetisation opportunities
• Video metrics, who is watching and for how long

This is a hands on workshop where attendees will learn by filming, editing and presenting on their mobile phones. If you are an experienced content creator, you will still learn during our practical exercies where we will feedback as a group, on what we felt worked and what didn't.

What do you need to bring:

Attendees need to bring a mobile phone with CapCut installed. Please bring along any kit you have including tripods, gimbals and microphones.

*It is very important that you have a basic understanding of how to use your mobile prior to the course. Such as how to download apps, and the basics of how to film video and take pictures and where to find it on your mobile.*

Other useful info:

*There will be no more than 10 in the class to allow for plenty of one to one feedback and support.*

Lunch will be provided, but not tea and coffee which can be purchased at the venue.
