Event description

Description

Event Overview:

Registration is open for the first Advancing Quality Sepsis collaborative of 2018,

The Clinical Expert Group for Sepsis met in December 2017 to reassess the current measures within the sepsis focus area. Amendments have been discussed and consensus agreed in a revised measure set, to ensure that national policy / guidance and recommendations are followed. The decisions made by the Clinical Expert Group will be shared at this collaborative.

The revised sepsis measures also support the NHS Cheshire & Mersey: Acute Sustainability Sepsis Programme and work being undertaken by the Patient Safety Collaborative.

Who is this event aimed at?

The collaborative is open to teams participating in the Advancing Quality Sepsis measures and your Trust will gain the most benefit if represented by a clinical team (such as consultants, specialist nurses, ward managers) and a data team (such as the clinical coders and data administrators).

This event is also open for Clinical Commissioning Groups who have an interest in Sepsis.

What will attendees gain?

These collaboratives are for you and we want them to be as relevant and beneficial as possible therefore, if you have any issues/ideas of what you would like to be included on the agenda, if you want to volunteer to tell your Trust's story or have a specific Trust you would like to hear from on how they are achieving their measures, please let us know via jacqui.baker@srft.nhs.uk.

Further information:

Registration will open from 9.30am for the collaborative to start at 10am and finish at 1pm, lunch will be available from 1pm for those wishing to stay and network.
