Is there parking at the venue?

Although we don't have a car park, unrestricted parking is available on local streets. Allow around 10 mins for parking and accessing the venue.

Who runs The Maker's Nook?

The Maker’s Nook is run by the Trafford Methodist Circuit — a friendly team of crafters and volunteers passionate about creativity, community, and connection. Everyone’s welcome to make, chat, and unwind… and there’s always a war

Do I need to be a member of the church to attend?

Not at all! The Maker’s Nook is open to everyone — you don’t need to be a church member (or even crafty!) to join in. Just come as you are, bring your curiosity, and enjoy a warm welcome, good company, and the joy of making something by hand.

Advent Bunting (4 week course)

Learn the basics of sewing in this gentle, festive series. We’ll guide you through threading your machine, practising simple stitches, and creating beautiful bunting inspired by the four themes of Advent — Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.
Each week includes a short reflection to accompany your making, offering space to slow down and find meaning in the season as your bunting comes to life. Join us on Wednesdys 26th November, 3rd, 10th and 17th December.
