We warmly invite young Ukrainians aged 11-18 y.o. from across Leicestershire to join us for a very special day of connection, adventure, and inspiration at Beaumanor Hall — a beautiful historic venue surrounded by stunning parkland, woodlands, and open spaces. This is the final event of the project supporting Ukrainian youth, and we want to make it truly memorable.

Morning: Conversations and Connections

The morning will focus on meeting the people who provide support for young people in Leicestershire. You will have a chance to talk to friendly staff from different services — including Youth Justice, Teen Health Team, and more. These teams are here to listen, answer your questions, and share how they can help.

At the same time, we will enjoy team-building activities led by Beaumanor Hall’s experienced instructors — a great chance to work together, have fun, and get to know each other better.

Afternoon: High Ropes Challenge or Silent Disco

In the afternoon, you will have the choice to take part in the exciting High Ropes adventure course — challenge yourself, support your friends, and enjoy the experience high above the ground. If climbing is not for you, there will also be a Silent Disco — put on the headphones, choose your music, and dance the afternoon away. We will also have different board games for those who would prefer calm activities.

As you asked, that day there will be enough time to relax, chat, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Beaumanor Hall together.

Food and Drinks

Please bring your own packed lunch — there is no food available on site. There are water refill stations, so bring a bottle with you.

Parents are welcome to stay at the venue if they wish, but they will need to book a ticket for themselves so we know how many people will be there. Parents should also bring their own food and drinks.

Transport

Participants will need to arrange their own transport to Beaumanor Hall. As young people are coming from different parts of Leicestershire, we are not able to organise shared transport. However, we encourage you to speak with other families in your area to see if you can travel together.
