Adventurous investing: an introduction to Special Situations
Tue 6 December 2016, 13:00 – 14:00 GMT
For those of you prepared to be more adventurous in the pursuit of returns and portfolio diversification, you are cordially invited to join us for one of two Special Situations Seminars held on Wednesday 30th November at 6pm and Tuesday 6th December at 1pm respectively.
The Killik & Co Special Situations Portfolio is a specialist managed service that invests specifically into small and medium sized UK companies, led by Mike Savage and Peter Bate. Between them they have over 40 years’ experience in the UK small cap arena, and their service focuses on the interesting, and increasingly overlooked smaller market universe. Their core ethos is that intuitively it should be possible to add value via active management in the smaller company spectrum, simply because there are fewer investors engaged at this part of the market – making it more likely for pricing anomalies to persist for longer.
For the six full years since inception (to 29th February 2016), the composite return across Special Situations accounts equates to an average compound annual return of 15.7%. In the period 29th February 2016 – 31st August 2016 the composite has returned 22.1%. N. B. this is net of all fees. Please remember that past performance can never be a promise of future performance and each portfolio is run individually so performance for each client can vary significantly.
Join us in Mayfair to learn more about this exclusive dimension of the market at one of two seminars hosted by division managers Mike Savage and Peter Bate:
Wednesday 30th November, 6pm - 7pm
Tuesday 6th December, 1pm - 2pm
Please Note: this seminar will be more geared towards potential new entrants to the service, but existing holders are of course welcome to attend or are most welcome to request a one to one meeting with the team on either of the dates mentioned.
