About this event
About the Workshop
Raising or supporting a teenager in today’s world can feel overwhelming — especially when anxiety, comparison, communication breakdowns, and academic pressure enter the mix.
Following the success of our Adversity to University webinar series, we're now inviting you to join us for a highly practical and personal online workshop designed to help you make 2026 a more connected, confident, and compassionate year for both you and your teen.
The content of the workshop is based on direct feedback from participants in recent webinars, focusing on the areas that parents like you said they wanted the most help in.
The places are limited to 8 to support a high level of support from the 2 workshop tutors who are highly experienced professionals working with anxious teenagers. Participants will also be given access to the 3 webinar recordings that preceed this workshop.
What You'll Gain
This workshop is not a lecture — it’s a guided conversation, a reflection space, and an extension to your toolkit designed for real-life application based on your personal situation. Together, we'll explore:
- What confidence really looks like: how to help your teen build it and how to develop your own confidence as a parent
- How to support your teen through limiting beliefs
- Understanding the relationship between self-esteem and comparison
- Effective communication using the S.A.V.E. method (Solution, Advice, Vent, Echo)
- Navigating the discomfort of change — for both you and your teen
- Simple mindset shifts that can be transformational
With a strong emphasis on personal reflection and the ability to discuss your specific challenges with the workshop leaders, this workshop is designed for parents, carers and educators of teens who are ready to shift from theory to application so that 2026 can deliver a transformation in their relationship with the teens in their lives
What Makes This Different?
- Small group setting (max 8 participants) for meaningful discussion
- Breakout room activities with co-facilitators Nick and Caroline
- Real-time interaction, guided reflection, and actionable takeaways
- Safe, judgment-free space to explore tough topics with support
