This session is designed for researchers from Universities and Public Sector Research Establishments and is delivered in collaboration with the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA). It will provide an overview of the upcoming UKAEA ICURe Discover Programme, taking place in February 2026.
The session will serve as a briefing opportunity, outlining key details about the programme and what participants can expect. Attendees will also have the chance to take part in a live Q&A with the programme team.
UKAEA is the national organisation responsible for the research and delivery of sustainable fusion energy. It is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. UKAEA’s mission is to lead the delivery of sustainable fusion energy and maximise the scientific and economic benefit.
