Description

The Pole Passion Aerial Hoop Instructor Training Beginner to Intermediate course covers all the fundamentals of becoming an aerial hoop instructor.

Over 100 beginner to intermediate moves are covered, as well as the essential knowledge required for setting up an aerial hoop business. Start your instructing career the right way with a qualification that gives you all the essential knowledge and skills to be a safe and effective instructor.


This event is an in-person beginner level practical assessment for the course. Online learning and submission of written assessments is required prior to attending the in-person assessment day. As the course is taken online there can be no refunds. The date of this event if for the in-person beginner assessment

Course Overview


The Beginner to Intermediate Course is split into 2 parts (theory and practical assessment).

Requirements

  • We recommend a minimum of 1 year of experience of doing aerial hoop as a student

  • You must have access to an environment suitable for safely practicing all moves covered to complete this training

Course format

  • Online theory and practical learning

  • Online theory assessment

  • Online submission of practical assessment paperwork

  • Attendance at assessment day or submission of practical assessment online

Assessment

The assessment consists of:

1) Theory assessment via online multiple-choice exam

2) Practical assessment via submission of paperwork by email

3) ​Beginner practical assessment

4) Intermediate practical assessment

Parts 1 & 2 must be completed before attendance on this assessment day.

Part 4 Intermediate Level practical cannot be completed on this day. Please contact us for dates for the Intermediate Practical Assessment.


Pre course learning and assessment

  • Complete the theory section and assessment online (approx. 6 - 8 hours)

  • Complete written tasks and submit via email (approx. 1 hour

  • Practice teaching the moves included in online learning (approx. 8 -10 hours)
  • Attend this Beginner Level assessment day to teach a 1-hour beginner class (12:30-3pm. 2.5hours are allowed for this assessment to give you time to prepare and to ask any questions after). You will be assessed by a qualified and experienced assessor. All equipment will be provided, you will need to bring participants with you to act as students (contact us if you are unable to do this).

If you pass this assessment you can then move onto the Intermediate Level practical Assessment. Contact us for dates of the in-person assessment or complete it online via video submission.
