About this event

"Bella is by far the best yoga instructor I’ve ever known and I feel so grateful for meeting her. I was never a “yogi” before but I have been converted because of Bella! Her teaching is not only inspiring but also healing at least for me. I never knew aerial yoga can be so playful and (paradoxically) so grounding, and calming for the soul, and I truly believe this is because of Bella’s balancing energy! You need to experience it to know what I mean and trust me you won’t regret it." (Marina, Aerial Student)

When the Aerial Summer School came to life in 2023, I had no idea what a success it would become. After an amazing first year (and, sadly, a studio closure), I've found a new home for our aerial shenanigans!

The Aerial Summer School (which cheekily changes its name with every season) offers bi-weekly aerial yoga classes on Sundays-no membership needed! Just drop in and you're good to go.

Over the years, I’ve noticed how much you love practicing on the weekends, you're more present, more energised, and ready to fly. The new studio is conveniently located near London Bridge, so you can float straight into your Sunday plans with friends in the heart of the city.

Come as you are, we’re a warm, supportive, and joyful bunch. With 10 years of teaching aerial yoga, I’ve got you covered no matter your level. Beginners welcome! The class offers a playful mix of strength, stretch, and deep rest all while suspended in a hammock, still rooted in yogic traditions. Spaces are limited to 10 for more personal support.

A class can look like this:

  • Grounding
  • Warm up
  • Peak Pose
  • Cool down
  • Flying Savasana in the Cocoon

So, if you’re curious to try something new, meet new people, or step a little outside your comfort zone, the Aerial Summer School is calling your name.

(All hammocks used in class are my own professionally maintained equipment, which I personally transport and set up, this is thoughtfully reflected in the class price.)

The next classes will be on Sunday 21st September and 5th of October and continues bi-weekly.

Please be aware that the Bridge Gym is a Charity for women. Men are welcome to class but there are no provided changing rooms for men. (There are toilet facilities on other levels where men can change).

The key contraindications of aerial yoga include glaucoma, heart disease, propensity to vertigo, very high or low blood pressure, recent concussion, head injury, herniated discs, osteoporosis, sinusitis, recent experience of a stroke and epilepsy, and pregnancy. Recent surgeries.
