Cocoon Levels 1 & 2.

Cocoon Aerial Yoga offers an evolution in yogic tradition. Our practice delivers an authentic yoga experience with the support of a soft fabric to explore, refine and advance traditional asana, both in the air and on the earth.

The technique works with Gravity to deepen and ground your yoga practice by anchoring and realigning the body, facilitating physical release, and cultivating strength. It invites Grace by creating an energetic flow which refines the awareness of breath, focusing the mind and uplifting the spirit. Cocooned by the hammock you’ll surrender into Gravity, and awaken into Grace.

Cocoon Level 1 & 2 training in Aerial Yoga is suitable for all levels.

This teacher training course will provide you with the techniques and structure required to safely deliver complete yoga classes using the aerial fabric. You will learn seven flowing sequences connected to the seven chakras, and the seven cycles of a cocoon class, this will inspire you to create your own flows and themes consistent with your unique teaching style. Our teacher training manual will provide you with a clear & adaptable template from which you can first embody the practice and then begin your own creative process.

The training also supports personal growth for mind/body/spirit. It will incorporate mindful movement and grounding sessions including kundalini chakra activations and meditations for the Chakras. These elements are essential in developing the self-awareness required to share this technique authentically.

This course is also suitable if you’re looking for an immersion or retreat to deepen and enhance your personal yoga practice, or as a starting point on your journey into sharing yoga with others.

On completing the training you will receive a Certificate of Completion and will be supported to submit a portfolio of learning if you intend to transition to teaching. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect to a network of already trained teachers who are enjoying sharing their practice and teaching all around the world.

In addition, you will have access to incredible opportunities for further professional development and spiritual growth by accessing Grace Level 3 and Gravity Level 4 either in the UK, Thailand or India.

This technique has been developed & designed by professional yoga teachers with over 30 years of cumulative yoga experience. Devi Kaur founded Aerial Yoga UK and created the Chakra Aerial Yoga technique. Clare Bevington founded Cocoon Yoga and created the Cocoon technique for Pregnancy.

We will be presenting the course and are dedicated to ensuring you receive the support you require to embody and share this amazing therapeutic practice.

The full cost of training is £1000 and there is the option to purchase your first professional Cocoon Yoga Hammock (we will need to know in advance before the training starts).

The days will run from approx 9.00 until 6.00 daily, with a break for lunch.

The course in intense, but is also great fun! We look forward to sharing this amazing technique on the amazing island of Koh Phangan in Thailand.
