Who is this course for?
Any frontline staff from Local Auhtorities and partner agencies who may come into contact with a member of the Armed Forces Community, and who will be providing a service for them. This is suitable for those working in health, housing, advice and information, welfare, benefits, public health, social care, third sector and other public services.

To introduce Armed Forces Community Culture
To be aware of the needs and vulnerabilities of the Armed Forces Community
To introduce the Armed Forces Covenant and the obligations and responsibilities it imposes upon agencies
To understand how to work with the Armed Forces Community
To be aware of Referral Pathways and additional support for the Armed Forces Community
What will I gain?
You will be able to better support members of the Armed Forces Community and help them to access some of the specialist help available to them. You will also receive CPD Certification for your participation, including a certificate of attendance and access to a Cheshire-wide resource pack.
