Description

*** FULLY BOOKED *** NEW DATE ADDED ***

This workshop is now fully booked, but we have added another session on Friday 22nd February. If you would like to attend on that date, please click on this link to book your place.

11,000 households in Portsmouth, and 3,000 households in Gosport, are estimated to be in fuel poverty (BEIS 2018).

This 3 hour workshop gives participants the knowledge and tools to recognise fuel poverty, to understand its causes and how it affects people, and to access local services that will help residents to afford their fuel bills and keep their homes warm.

It includes information on the Local Energy Advice Programme, Emergency Boiler Replacement and Warmer Homes schemes.

This free training is open to any frontline staff and volunteers working with anyone in Portsmouth or Gosport who could be living in a cold home or vulnerable to fuel poverty.
