Welcome to African Art Studio Classes!

Come join us for a fun and creative experience at ArtQuay Gallery. Our studio classes require no prior experience so beginners are welcome. Learn about traditional African art techniques and create your own masterpiece to take home. Our talented instructors will guide you every step of the way. Don't miss this opportunity to explore the vibrant world of African art!

What to Expect:

• Step-by-step guidance in painting and drawing, inspired by African traditions
• Explore bold colours, patterns, masks, landscapes, and storytelling through art
• Materials are provided (or bring your favourites if you prefer)
• A friendly atmosphere with African snacks available

Event Details:

• Older adults / seniors studio sessions - Every Tuesday (7 Oct to 11 Nov 2025), 10:30am–12:00pm
• Older adults / seniors studio sessions - Every Thursday (9 Oct to 13 Nov 2025), 10:30am–12:00pm
• General adults studio sessions - Every Saturday (11 Oct to 15 Nov 2025), 10:30am–12:00pm

Cost: £25 per studio session (discounts available)

Free taster sessions available:

• Taster 1: Tuesday 23 September, 10:30am–12:00pm
• Taster 2: Thursday 25 September, 1:30pm–3:00pm
