In just 2 hours, I’ll guide you step-by-step through the process of making a stunning 25cm-wide lampshade. You'll be able to create a lampshade that perfectly complements your home.
I’ll be sharing my tried-and-tested techniques and insider tips to help you craft a lampshade that looks like it stepped straight out of a designer’s studio.
First time making a lampshade? don't worry. This workshop is perfect for beginners.

- African print fabric – choose from our selection of vibrant designs (**or bring your own - half metre of cotton works best. No heavy upholstery, velvet, or silk).
- All the tools and components you'll need to craft your masterpiece.
- Step-by-step written guide, so you can recreate this at home.
By the end, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind piece that you can use on a lamp stand or hang as a ceiling pendant. The size of your lampshade will be 25cm diameter x 21cm high.

Hi, I'm Tash - your workshop tutor and creative hands Fitz and Gwen Lampshades, where I've been making handmade lampshades for over 8 years. Teaching lampshade-making workshops has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. I love seeing people light up (pun intended!) when they realise they can create something beautiful with their own hands.

PLEASE NOTE: If bringing your own fabric, half a metre is required. Cotton fabrics are the most suitable, either plain or patterned. Please do not bring thick fabric, leather, embroidered fabric, velvet, thick upholstery or silk fabrics.
