African Yoga Workshop with Nai Davina

About this Event

Ages 13+

A taster of African Yoga and its historical practice from Ancient Egypt for young people and adults. Learn how we can use this tool to cultivate optimum health and wellbeing through postures, pranayama (breathwork) and Hudu (African Tai Chi).

The art of merging mind with body.

Nai Davina is a Certified 700hr Afrikan, Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, Doula and Wellness facilitator. She has been working within rehabiltaton units, prisons, schools in the Manchester community and globally with a passion of bringing health, well being and self transformation to all those she works with.

Trained in Uganda and India, she aims to share her practice and experience with the importance of preserving history and self.

Nai was awarded Youth award for her works within the community and Internationally at the Heroes and Sheroes Ceremony and MBE (Media Buisness and Education) Award for the group Back to Roots.
