• To promote better understanding between parents, their children and young people.

Some of those issues making up key areas of the programme include:
Neglect
Chastisement /Discipline – method
Method of discipline in the UK is different. We need to know and understand what is excessive and what our limits are.
Domestic violence
We need to understand the impact of domestic violence on children and young people.
Cruelty
The kind of discipline we use is sometimes boarder line cruelty in terms of the local laws.
Lack of understanding of mental health issues on children and young people ,which affect response and behaviours.
Cultural issues and believes - circumcision - Female genital mutilation (FGM)
Lack of understanding of and emotional connection with our children
Teaching Children to understand our family values
