After School Pottery Club is run on Thursdays 4.30-6.00 term time in our Pottery Studio

The children are taught by experienced tutors. We aim to develop confidence, skills and knowledge by giving them the opportunity to use a wide variety of materials, teaching technique and encouraging awareness of the essential elements of colour, form, pattern, shape, line and tone. Wherever possible we will use the natural environment and wealth of artworks surrounding the art centre as a source of inspiration.
The club teaches your child different techniques and allows them to explore form, shape, texture and balance while they create their very own ceramic pieces which can be fired , glazed and taken home. Working with clay has been proven to improve mental health, and is a great way to explore creativity.
