Can I get there by train, Metrolink or bus?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Manchester Oxford Road (5 minutes walk), Manchester Piccadilly (15 minutes) and Manchester Victoria (15 minutes) The nearest Metrolink stop is St. Peter’s Square or Deansgate-Castlefield and many local buses serve Cambridge Street and Oxford Road, TFGM has more details.

Can I park nearby?

Yes! There is a pay-and-display car park opposite the building on Hulme Street.

Will refreshments be provided?

Accepted Answer

The café will be open serving drinks and snacks like crisps and biscuits. We have arranged for the café to take pre-orders of drinks for the break to avoid long wait times.  The café does not serve food. Please bring a water bottle and anything else you may need during the hour and a half session.

Where can I get some lunch?

The Anthony Burgess café does not serve food, but there are many fabulous places to eat close by on First Street and Tony Wilson Place (HOME, Pizza Express, Indian Tiffin Room, WOOD Manchester, Hakkapo, Ribeye Steakhouse Manchester and many more)

Can I come along even though I can't sing?

Everyone can sing! It's a core value at Simply Singing CIC. Everyone is at a different point in their singing journey, and everyone deserves to experience the joy of singing in a group. There's nothing like it.

Will I be able to keep up?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We bespoke arrange all our music so everyone can work at their own level. If you are brave and trust us, you will be amazed at what you can do.

Question 7

Is the event accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The building is wheelchair accessible, with an accessible toilet on the ground floor. There are no steps between the entrance, café, accessible toilet and workshop space.
