Back by popular demand, The English Cream Tea Company are hosting another marvellous and quintessentially English event filled with their famous afternoon teas, alongside a champagne reception, quizzes and, of course, live music and dancing!
Think of the loveliest afternoon tea, with all the frills and finery, set in a stunning Tudor Barn on the Essex/Herts border - and then add a whole lot more enjoyment! The perfect gift for Mother’s Day and birthdays, or as a good excuse to treat yourself and gather friends together as you sit back, relax and pretend you’re royalty for the day!
2.45pm: Arrive for Canapes and glass of Kir Royale
3.10pm: Take your seats for ‘An Afternoon Tea Etiquette Quiz’ by Chief Scone Gnome Jane Malyon.
3.30pm: Lavish Afternoon Tea (and Champagne Bar with 20% of the proceeds going to 'Little Hearts Matter' children's heart charity). Dance to live music and entertainment, and be inspired by a demonstration by professional dancers Rodney and Annette from RDS.
Indulge in a selection of Savouries and Cocktail Sandwiches, Pots of Tea, Warm Plump Scones with Cornish Clotted Cream and delicious Curds and Jams, Dainty Cakes, as well as homemade Biscuits and Pastries. But don’t forget to leave room for the tempting delights on the Dessert Trolley!! And all enjoyed on vintage china…heavenly!
5.45pm: Home James and don't spare the horses!
This truly is set to be a perfect family outing or day with friends and loved ones, revelling in an afternoon filled with one of England’s favourite past-times. Come dressed in frocks and pearls if you wish!
