Afternoon Tea in the Gardens of Woodhill Park Estate
Indulge in a delightful afternoon tea experience at Woodhill Park Estate, before enjoying The Duke’s Theatre Company’s open air performance of Macbeth.
Come for tea and explore the gardens, or come to Macbeth - or both! Macbeth tickets available separately.
You’ll be treated to a selection of delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes, all served with tea and a glass of champagne, in the elegant surroundings of Woodhill Park’s beautiful gardens. Open for the first time, you can relax and enjoy views of the stunning parkland, or wander through the newly restored Walled Garden, Sundial Walk and Amphitheatre in the wood.
Afternoon tea will feature freshly baked bread with classic sandwiches such as smoked salmon and cucumber, along with scones, generously served with clotted cream and jam.

Gates open at 4pm, 2 hours before the performance, for garden visits, woodland walks and afternoon tea at £27.80 pp including a glass of champagne, tea, sandwiches and cake. Book in advance, or dependent on availability.
Admission to the gardens without afternoon tea is £10pp.
Tickets:
E-tickets are preferred (to be shown on smart phones or tablets). Paper tickets are also accepted.

Seating:
Seating is available for afternoon tea in our Courtyard Orangerie and in our gardens. Please bring fold up garden chairs, camping chairs or blankets for the open air play.

If using GPS, the postcode is SY10 9AS.
The nearest train station is Gobowen. Taxis are available from the station, with an approximate 15-minute journey to site.
Parking:
There is ample parking on site for ticket holders, in the fields to the left of the lodge, accessed from the main road.
Accessibility:
The grounds and lawns where the performance will take place are across fields including access to the lavatories.
Dogs:
Except for assistance/guide dogs, we regret that we cannot admit any dogs or other pets.
Toilets:
Portaloos.
Food and Drink:
Picnicking is encouraged before and during the performance and at the interval on the front lawn only. There is a bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
