Event description

Description

Look beyond the portraits and figures dominating Upton’s painting collection, and become acquainted with the landscapes within some of some of Lord Bearsted’s most well-known paintings.

We are hosting ‘Faces of Change: Nature’s Champions’ this autumn. This National Portrait Gallery exhibition charts the significant influence of individuals who have shaped our understanding of the natural world and our landscapes. This talk will take you beyond figures and faces, and introduce you to some of the lesser known landscapes within Upton’s distinguished painting collection. The talk will be followed by a traditional cream tea.
