Elizabeth will discuss her latest novel The Autumn Throne, showcasing her meticulous research into Eleanor of Aquitaine, one of medieval history’s most fascinating female figures. A New York Times bestselling author, Elizabeth has written over 20 historical novels, translated into 18 languages. Her first novel, The Wild Hunt, won a Betty Trask Award and The Scarlet Lion was voted one of the top ten landmark historical novels of the decade. Elizabeth’s nineteenth novel, To Defy a King, won the Romantic Novelists’ Association Historical Novel Prize in 2011.
