Turn a puddle of coloured water into a masterpiece!
10 x 2 hour tutored sessions, suitable for both beginners and those with a little experience.
Watercolours is probably the easiest painting medium to pick up but the hardest to master. This course guides through all the common pitfalls and problems of watercolour painting and will teach you how to stay in control of your colours and paint the picture you always wanted.
Laying a flat wash; working wet into wet; colour-mixing; creating atmosphere; capturing the time of day; composition; perspective; elements of landscape and still-life; trees and figures; history of watercolour with illustrations.
Tables and chairs and a roll of newsprint paper are provided. Please bring whatever watercolour paints and brushes you have, plus an HB pencil, cut sheets of watercolour paper or a pad.
